Yew Tree Cottage
A renovated cottage with a garden annexe and wood-fired hot tub, Bisley. Sleeps eight.
Yew Tree Cottage sits at the very end of a quiet rural lane near Bisley, half-hidden behind the yew hedge that gives it its name, with its own woodland rising behind. Renovated throughout, it is warm and sheltered in winter and opens to the garden in summer. A long kitchen and dining room leads out to the terrace, a vaulted sitting room gathers around the wood-burner, and at the edge of the trees a contemporary annexe and a wood-fired hot tub complete the picture.
A cottage hidden in its own woods.
A house for every season.
Three king bedrooms sit on the first floor of the cottage, sharing two bathrooms. Across the garden, the single-storey annexe can be a quiet studio or a fourth king bedroom with its own en-suite, so the house sleeps eight with room to spread out.
Downstairs the living space is unusually generous: the open-plan kitchen and dining room, a study that doubles as a second sitting room, and the vaulted main sitting room with its wood-burning stove. A utility and boot room takes care of muddy boots after a walk.
A few steps down from the annexe, the decked hot tub is heated by wood and looks out over the garden and trees. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
