Questions from Owners

The questions owners most often ask before handing us the keys. If yours is not here, we would be glad to talk it through in a private consultation.

What does your management cost?

Our fee is tailored to each house: its size, its setting and the level of service it needs. After an initial conversation and a visit, we send a clear written proposal, so you know exactly what is included before you decide.

Can I still use the house myself?

Yes. It remains your home. Block the dates you want for yourself, family or friends in advance, and we will prepare the house for you just as we would for a guest.

Who looks after the house day to day?

One team: our own housekeepers, maintenance staff and hosts. Nothing is passed to a chain of contractors, so standards stay consistent and you always know who is responsible.

How and when am I paid?

Owners are paid monthly, with a clear statement showing every booking, the income earned and any costs.

What happens if something is damaged?

Every booking is protected by a security deposit or damage cover, and the house is checked by our team before each arrival. If anything needs attention, we arrange the repair and keep you informed.

Am I tied in?

No. We work on a rolling agreement with three months’ notice, and any bookings already confirmed beyond that date are honoured, so no guest is let down. We would rather keep owners because the house is well looked after than because a contract says so.

Where do you work?

We look after homes across the UK, from the Cotswolds to the coast, including for owners who live in London or abroad and want a trusted team on the ground.

How do we get started?

Tell us about your home. We will arrange a private, no-obligation conversation, visit the house and set out a plan for its presentation, pricing and running. Photography, listings and preparation are handled for you before the first guest arrives.
