Practicalities

There is private parking on the driveway, suitable for up to 2 cars. The kitchen has a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a washer-dryer in the utility room.

Retreat includes

Hot Tub, Smart TV, Sound Bar, Netflix, Wifi internet, Barbecue, Board Games, Coffee Machine, Linen, Logs and Kindling for the fire.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Two king bedrooms on the first floor share a well-appointed bathroom. On the ground floor, a sofa bed has use of a second bathroom, and a cot is available for an infant, giving flexible arrangements for families and small groups.

May Cottage is a restored, listed barn in a quiet cul-de-sac in Little Rissington, a few minutes from Bourton-on-the-Water. Historic character and a considered modern finish sit easily together, with a private hot tub for the evenings.

High ceilings, exposed stone and carefully chosen interiors set a calm tone throughout. Spend evenings by the wood fire, settle into the snug for a film, or retreat to the four-poster bedroom. Outside, a secluded terrace is made for dining in the open air, and the surrounding countryside leads easily to Stow-on-the-Wold, Burford, Daylesford Organic and some of the region's most celebrated country pubs.
