Practicalities

There is private parking on the driveway, suitable for up to 4 cars. The kitchen has an AGA, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a washer-dryer in the utility room.

Retreat includes

Smart TV, Sound Bar, Netflix, Wifi internet, Barbecue, Board Games, Coffee Machine, Linen, Logs and Kindling for the fire.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

A super-king bedroom and two twin bedrooms on the first floor share a well-appointed bathroom. On the ground floor, two king bedrooms share a second bathroom, with an additional single bed for a child, giving flexible arrangements for families and groups.

Pets

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, or three on prior request, charged at £60 per dog per week or part thereof.

A restored farmhouse in open countryside near Farmington, reached by a private farm track and surrounded by rolling hills and walking trails. Inside, exposed beams and a wood-burning fire sit alongside a calm, comfortable finish; outside, a generous private garden is made for long evenings. The house is entirely private, with ample parking, yet only minutes from charming villages and independent shops, and well placed for guests travelling from London or arriving from overseas. It suits families, couples and friends travelling together. The farmhouse sits within a working estate, so you may see the farmer at work in the surrounding fields. Please note there is an open pond in the garden and a number of internal steps to the bedrooms.
